Tangail Baluchari Saree

Traditionally Baluchari Saree are woven in Silk fabric in Bengal. Presenting with you a contemporary thought with the traditionally concept of Baluchari in Tangail.

The pallu and borders of the saree have glimpses of figurative motif of Bengal Rani (Begum)and peacock. It is made of pure cotton fabric and involves extremely deft craftsmanship to weave a saree.

The art of hand weaving is labour intensive and takes a relatively longer time. But, the beauty it adds to the fabric is priceless and worth the time. Typically it takes a week's time to completely weave and process a saree before putting it to frame.  

Tangail saree in pure cotton is more breathable, feels lighter in summers and is a must have !
