Bedsheet

Kantha is a traditional craft of West Bengal that narrates a story through the hand embroidery of different tales on mythology, folk, floral, contemporary design, etc. After finishing the household chores for the day, the women would sit together in a group and stitch away with all their love. There is an incredible warmth of pure cotton bedsheet with delicate stitches running all across it. A labour of several days, a bedsheet is handcrafted and every single one is hence a result of incredible patience and craft.
