The embroidery unfolds in rhythmic geometric and floral-inspired patterns, meticulously created using thousands of fine running stitches known as Nakshi Kantha. The vibrant interplay of red, grey, marron, black, white threads against the mustard silk base creates a striking yet balanced composition and richly expressive along the borders.

Rooted in the heritage of Bengal, Kantha embroidery began as a domestic art form where women repurposed fabrics into storytelling textiles.
