Chokher Bali from BONGONIKETAN is a celebration of handcrafted storytelling inspired by the timeless visual language of Warli folk art, interpreted through the embroidery traditions of Bengal. Set against a soft ivory base with a classic red border, this elegant dupatta transforms simple thread into a rich narrative where geometric forms, rhythmic patterns and symbolic motifs come together in a harmonious composition.

Inspired by the spirit of rural life, the embroidery features stylised human figures, trees, birds, floral motifs and decorative geometric elements arranged in flowing continuity across the fabric. At the heart of the composition lies the iconic Tarpa dance motif, symbolising community, celebration and the cyclical rhythm of life. Every motif is meticulously hand embroidered by skilled women artisans, creating a textile that is both visually intricate and culturally expressive.
