Horse Dokra

A timeless symbol of strength, movement, and cultural identity, this Handmade Dokra Horse is a striking expression of one of India’s oldest metal casting traditions. Crafted using the ancient lost-wax (Dokra) technique, often referred to as the “lost and found” process, each piece is entirely handmade without the use of industrial molds. Artisans from West Bengal meticulously shape the form in wax, encase it in clay, and pour molten metal to bring the sculpture to life — a process that ensures every piece is unique, carrying subtle variations that reflect the human hand behind its making.
