Bengal Revival Baluchari Silk Saree

This is an antique, glamourous and masterpiece handwoven Revival Baluchari saree of Bengal. The pallu has glimpses of figurative motiff of Bengal Raja (Nawab) and Rani (Begum), English Men (Sahib) and English Women (Mensahib) in East India Company, peacocks, birds & kalka motif in the center. This rich textile heritage is a mesmerizing weave and perfect for wedding, rich and distinct look. It is made of rich silk yarn and involves extremely deft craftsmanship to weave a saree. Baluchari sarees traditional were worn by the royals and aristocrats. It takes several days to weave this saree.

The stunning saree comes with a blouse fabric of the same colour combination as the saree.
