Konkona

Our Konkona sari presents the quintessential Jamdani weave in fine cotton silk. Rooted in the original Dhakai Jamdani design language, this saree features Butidar motifs (small repeated butis) across the body, arranged in a balanced grid, and a Kharibel pallu, defined by horizontally aligned running figures that frame the saree with continuity and structure. The border extends this composition into a defined arrangement, completing the design narrative.

While the design remains traditional, the saree is woven in Bengal, offering a softer and more fluid fabric that does not require starch. Unlike conventional Dhakai Jamdani, it carries a more relaxed drape with a naturally smooth finish making it ideal for extended wear across climates. Lightweight, breathable, and refined in structure, this Jamdani saree is well-suited for both everyday elegance and special occasions, seamlessly blending heritage weaving with contemporary comfort.
