Shankh Terracotta

An interpretation of a sacred form through the language of earth and fire, this Bengal Terracotta Shankh (Shankho) transforms the iconic conch into a sculptural clay artefact. Rooted in the terracotta traditions of Bankura, West Bengal, the piece is entirely handcrafted using basic tools and freehand techniques, without the use of molds.
